Senior Engineer - Estimation

Roles & Responsibilities:

Construction Budgets

• Manage the entire budgeting process of the construction budget including all other site related expenses
• Preparation of block estimates, Concept Level Budget, GFC level budget and annual CTCs.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Design, Execution and Contract administration for required inputs and assumptions for approvals
• Prepare package level BOQ’s as per Tender Event Schedule
• Ensure accurate revisions/update in the budgets based on site progress / change in designs/material specifications/quantities
• Value Engineering

Monitoring Budgets

• Monthly budget tracking and monitoring to highlight deviations/discrepancies / budget overshoots of the Project.
• Monitor project progress in terms of cash flow and proactively identify concerns areas and take corrective actions in consultation with the Project Head and PMG Head
• Review stage level drawings w.r.t Budget assumptions and highlight deviations.
• Monthly review of inventory levels at site
• Support in Variation orders.
• Drive continuous efforts to reduce/minimize material wastage on sites and identify areas for cost savings

Financial projections & Analysis

• Provide financial analysis on various proposals – capital expenditure, design /material changes, outsourcing proposals, etc to enable decision making
• Support Execution teams in decision making through financial analysis or estimates as required
• Provide data and reports to support Finance department requirements

Bill Passing

• Review & approve bills approved by Site Billing Engineer
• Highlight all deviations and escalate for required approvals as per the delegation of authority

Skills Required:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering
• Experience of 8 to 10 years with last 4-5 years in Costing & Budgeting field.
• Hands-on experience in SAP, Autocad, MS office.
• Good communication skills
